Obesity is a condition that results in the accumulation of excessive fat in the body. Generally a person has obesity when his weight is 20 percent or more above the recommended weight based on the normal size of the person, the age, the sex and body shape or the structure of bone. It is what called the body mass index, which is a measurement of fat in the body, calculated by using a formula which requires the size and the weight of an adult. The people with a BMI less of 18.5 are having insufficient weight.

The causes of obesity include consuming too much fast food, snack having sugar and the high percentage of fat, use of automobiles for the entire person, increased time spent in front of TV sets and computers, life styles and they are generally more inactive than other slim people. While 15.5 percent of the general population is obese, 21.1 percent of the headache patients met the criteria for obesity.

People who are aged below 18, obesity is defined as BMI in the 95th percentile for the category of age of a person, that is it is 95 percent higher than that of his slim friends. A BMI between 85th to 95th percentiles endangers a young person of obesity, whereas the healthy BMI is between the 65th to 85th percentiles. Those who have more age and excessive weight have the risk of having frequent headaches than that of slimmer young aged people. The headaches among the young people of excessive weight also tend to being more frequent too. The affected people can gradually develop the hypoxemia, which is decreased saturation of the oxygen in the blood, and to have sleeping disorders.

The fruits and the vegetables are the right food for those who are suffering from obesity. It is also a fact that fruits and vegetables will really help to burn a part of the obesity. It is always recommended to consult a doctor if a person crosses 50 pounds. Avoiding obesity includes the concept of prevention, disciplines and a great patience.
